We went out fairly early Saturday. Left the dock at 8:45

Headed South. This looks good. Anybody want a good spot?

Trolled, no bites, dropped live Pinfish.... Nothing. Crew suited up and went down to check it out. Here's Frank with a score:

Headed back North hitting spots as we go. Here's Paul, first time out with Team Grouper:

Here's Gregory (PinFishKing JR). Lost the picture but he speared his first fish this weekend, a nice Hog Snapper. Here he is with a couple of other casualties:

Here's Ben (Frank Jr) trolling/scalloping. He still can't figure out where the big blister between his toes came from:

Limited out on scallops in 6.5 to 9 foot. Caught the most around the edges of big sandy spots where it meets the grass.
Tally:
6 nice gags.
1 huge red.
5 triggers (big ones).
6 Mangrove Snappers (Friday Night's Supper).
10 gallons of scallops.
We had a good time as always. It was HOT. We introduced someone new (Paul) to the Big Bend fishing/spearing experience.
