I want to buy a kayak to hunt and fish out of. I will be hunting and fishing on small rivers. I will have a 65 pound dog with me. I think I need one atleast 14 or 15 feet long. What do I need.

you might want to look at Forgotten Coast Kayak Anglers (http://www.fcka.net/cat001/index.php) in the section on Rigging

there is a post there where a tandem was converted to single .. room enough for a dog .. some Canada geese .. a moose or two .. a kodiak bear .. several elk

Pamlico 160T

or a Ride 135

made by Wilderness Systems and sold at Wilderness Way. These are two of my recommendations. The Pamlico is a sit inside and the Ride is a Sit on Top.

I was thinking about your question last night and remembered the Nucanoe. It can handle a trolling motor too and its really wide.
