Question for Kenner owners?

Post by Hit-n-Miss »

:o Newer Kenner owners, what kind of boarding ladder do you have? Got any pics? :o The transome steps down to the side 1.5" and all I can figure out is to use a Garelick 2 or 3 step folding narrow transome ladder with 1.5" starboard spacers for the one side. Any other thoughts?

My last boat was an '05 1800 vision. I had an aftermarket platform style ladder installed with the flip down ladder(one step). You can find em in most any boating store for about 80 bucks.

I just bought one that hangs over the side for my 2103. Used it twice now and it seems to work fine. I got the 3 step one w/ the wider hooks(11" I think) to fit over the gunnels. I think it was $35 at West Marine. When not in use I can fold it up and and store it under the front deck.

Not sure how wide the gunnels are on your Kenner, but you may can get by with the 7" hooks. Send me a PM if you want to see it or go hang it on your boat before you buy one.
