Miccosukee and Immonia
Does anyone fish these places anymore? I used to do alot of night fishing in Miccosukee...There used to be some tig ole bitty bream in there
.....Anyone been, heard or seen anyone fishing at either of these places?

Chalk, I used to fish Miccosukee on a regular basis. We would fish a couple of tournaments out there every year. The lake has not been the same since they drew it down. And, believe it or not, the vegetation is thicker now than it was before the drawdown. A couple of the other clubs fished tournaments out there this spring, and 1 fish won both tournaments. Haven't heard a good report from Miccosukee in years.
I've fished Iamnia 1 time. But my understanding is it's about the same as Miccosukee. The lake was near dry until the spring of this year. It'll take several years of normal pool for it to recover.
Also, it's very easy to burn an outboard up in both lakes.

What was I supposed to do today?
Same here. Use to fish Imonnia a good bit and caught some big fish there. Have not fished it since it re-filled. I use to visit Charlie Harrell at his store by the ramp quite a bit but he pased away eariler this year.Do miss him; he was a good man with a great sence of humor. Will probably try the lake later this fall.
