offering my services and knowledge Mosquito Lagoon
Havening been a loyal reader of this site i just wanted to offer help to anyone from this site who might go to Mosquito lagoon/ Banana river area. I have fished this area out of a kayak many times and out of a flats boat many times as well. My buddy who is also a tallahassee native and bigbend member (Ryan Harris) had been living in New Symnera for a couple of years. His BIL is a very well known flats guide for mosquito lagoon. If anyone needs a guide for this area please contact me. Ryan has just recieved his captins liscense and will be taking some of his BIL over flow clients. I have fished with Ryan in the lagoon a bunch of times and in all conditions. I think i have a feel for the area now. So if a forum member comes this way and wants to bring their boat i will be happy to help out with some pointers of where to putin, some decent spots to try, and some tactics that may work for the area. Ofcourse if yall just want to put hugh redfish in 25-40lb class i suggest hiring Ryan or his BIL Scot Trip, but if your like me and just want to fish outta your own boat I'll be happy to offer some general info for those that ask. Oh Yeah one more thing, this is the only place i have ever fished that you can fish top water all day long and the top water never turns off!!!

What a small world, a good friend of mine is Scotts BIL. I'll be seeing him this weekend and letting my buddy pole me around and point me in the direction to toss my top water, looks like I'll have my own personal bird dog. Scott Tripp is a very good guide, as far as i know, He'll work his ass off to put anyone on fish.

Too Bad for you!! I just got back from Lake Lanier and on the way back I spoke to Ryan Harris, I'm sure you knew his big bro Chuck. Has said they caught 22 reds saturday 25"-31" and a 29" trout, and then on Sunday morning they caught 10 reds, the smallest was 14lbs, the largest was 44". And ironicly enough They were right where I was gonna send you.
