You should be

I still find a ton of info here- especially if I search the old posts.
Everyone has been willing to answer questions.

If someone has a good spot that they dont want to share I don't mind.
Probably wouldn't try it out anyway.

I want to know how deep they were fishing, what they were catching them on, Tides.... all the stuff I can apply to my favorite spots.

I think everyone who has their very own secret "spot" should place a marker buoy on it so I can avoid it ,better yet. just post directions so we all can aviod it  :-D

I am offended, cut to the bone, the mental anguish will probably leave me scared for life...ooh the atrocity you have placed on my heart…mmmmmm…..never mind that was just some flatulence

Just like teats on a boar hog….I tried to work that in this post, but couldn’t figure out how, maybe next time.

A place of gathering is also a place of opinions, varied beliefs and no consistency…we are different by providing consistency in fishing. Opinions and beliefs are what make everyone of you unique…Learning to interject your opinion or belief in a tactful manner would make this post not exist, but we are all different that’s why we have these conversations from time to time.

We have 1409 members only 134 members have more than 100 posts, roughly 1 in 10 even bothers to post. You would be surprised at the number of people that tell me personally that they enjoy reading the posts on this site, but never interpose.

We gain a new member on average of every other day. You can say we gain another opinion on how to spool a bait caster every other day. We are different from other forums, but we are all alike in variance of opinions and personalities. As the site grows and receives a face lift  so will the number of opinions and personalities and issues. This is all part of growing up, same things we deal with in life.

This is a special place, if you actively participate in the conversations or read them, you will learn something. If you want exact information there is no place that is going to provide that information. If you will take the time to disseminate the information on this site, you will become a better angler and boater.

Not looking for confessions but what have you learned from this site?

Me – Tom Keels taught me Grouper 101 & 102 (Though he won’t carry me back :-? ), Birddog taught me how to fish St. Joe, Jumptrout taught me that Gulps don’t work, Tincan, well what can I say never knew you could put so much knowledge in such a small container…Barhopr taught me to take a take care of business prior to lanching the boat

Yeah, I hear you saying that’s not from this site, well it is…I never knew anyone of the mentioned above before BigBendFishing.Net nor would I probably ever have, it’s a special place.

We will grow, things will change, people will move on, etc…It’s life, you only have one, don’t get caught up in the details…go fishing

ok....I have to get in on this action. This is a place of differing opinions, thats why I like it. If we all agreed all the time how boring that would make not only this forum but life in general. It is when we appreciate each others differences that we learn from each other. I think this is a great group and I enjoy reading the posts. I am a newbie and I don't know how I would have gained the fishing skills and boating knowledge that I have today without this forum!!! You guys are the BEST!

Things I have learned...
1. When passing the tripod at Ankyfaenna, some go left and some go right.

2. Some folks agree with me it's acceptable to have hammer down, jackplate up and balls to the wall if there are boats anchored or otherwise
compromising the free flow of marine traffic at the mouth of
the Ankyfaenna River.

3. Rocks and oyster bars appear to migrate in and around the
Ankyfaenna River.

4. The members of this forum put on one hell of social every
Feb in the big city of Sopchoppy.

5. Compared to the Floridasportsman forum there are no
consistent "know it alls" on this forum!

6. There's a whole bunch of good folks on this forum that just love
chasing them fishes and sharing their tales!
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

JT: could be right
Chalk: been at any mediation/sensitivity training classes lately or did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?

I've learned that if you want to catch fish you've got to go fishing. The more I fish the more I catch.
Live bait will put meat in the cooler but artificials makes it more fun.
Everbody picks on Tin Can and JT cause they like them and respects them as fisherman.
