put in at Coe's Landing about 6pm, on the water til 9:30... caught a couple small largemouth on topwater. Nothing to speak of.
More interesting was the huge amount of mayflies (I think)... right about dusk I realized there was a large amount of buzzing, I looked up, and they were everywhere... All in hover mode, all facing the same way, occasionally jumping one another...
Saw lots of fish hitting the surface eating them. Short of fly-fishing, any recommendations on how to target the fish eating the mayflies?
I used to use a 10ft. BreamBuster w/ 8ft. of floating flyline and 4ft. of 2 or 4lb. mono tied to a glow plug fly. Toss that fly under those hanging oaks and wait for that big ole bream to suck it down.
