Not Your Bait Shrimp

Does anyone know where you can get Royal Red Shrimp? I had some in Key West, and can't wait to get my hands on some more. Any help is welcome.

I would hazard a guess ...................Key West.

Trust me, if I hadn't posted that, someone else would have. 8)

I remember getting them at Barnacle Bills a few years back...
Don't know if they still have them.

They are suppose to be seasonal but I don't know what time of the year they are in season....

We got some at Joe Patti's on Pensacola bay a couple of months ago, but they said we were lucky that they had any to sell that day -- as they hardly ever get any, anymore. (whatever that meant). I am not sure if they are seasonal or what. They are mightly good   however, as I am sure you know.

They get them in seasonally at Publix, usually for a couple of weeks. Call Southern Seafood in Tally and ask them, I believe they carry them, too, when the short season is in.

Call Dacky Ward at Buddy Ward's seafood in Apalach. If he doesn't have them, he can tell you where to get them.
