Turkey Point....ish

Post by Wadey »

Calm wind flat seas today! thought to myself....hmmmm low tide so no Reds on the "shallow flats" early on. so maybe try some water just off the flats, around, 4ft depth! ended with 2 dozen trout, 5 Bluefish (don't they go) and picked up a red last cast in the shallows. Rapy Lures from Poland and Manns One Minus did the trick!

Nice going Wadey, but you better watch it. Those Florida boys are already complaining when we Georgia boys come and catch their fish. This could turn into an international incident..... :smt005

DT ...No problems we Brits had dinner at Angelos last evening, so our fishing day was strictly catch and release!

bman.......I fish 99% freshwater at home, so have mainly freshwater lures, but a fish is just a fish, fresh or saltwater, so I use the same lures for both, I upgrade the hooks sometimes! and use wire through construction whenever I target toothy critters.
