need some help for a newcomer

Post by NoleFish »

I've been living here for a little while and would like to go shooting. I know there is a range off of springhill but I don't think they allow shotguns. Does anyone know of anywhere me and my buddies can shoot without knowing anyone with land?

What kind of shooting. Actually hunting or just clays.

I don't think the range in the Nat. Forest allows for shotguns. At least it didn't in the past. If you want to shoot clays I would recommend the Coon Bottom Gun Club off HWY 12 in Concord (Coon Bottom). You can shoot Trap or Skeet there. They are open Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Thanks for the responses, we would just be shooting clays. How far far from Tallahassee is Coon bottom?

Coonbottom's your place. 20 minutes north of Tallahassee just off of Co. Road 12 via Meridian Rd.
