CIS 12/28 and St Joe 12/29

Post by Eerman »

Spent the weekend in Port St Joe with the wife's family. Hit CIS with my crew of 4, following Barhopr to find the way out. Great looking water, unfortunately the fish didn't seem to be there. Was cold and windy. Spent part of the afternoon dragging the boat off of a flat. Boat drafts a little more with 4 in it... :D Will have to try there again in better weather. Next day, went solo for about 2 hours in St Joe Bay. Again, the wind was howling. Was able to get two 23-24" reds on topwater. Had a couple of more boil up on the lure; but, no love. Took some pictures; but, evidently I need a new camera. :smt010 Did get out on 12/30 with Barhopr but I'll let him post that one. Love that whole area. Can't wait to get back.
