Jack Plate for my Scout

Post by mojokoko »

I have been thinking about getting a Jack Plate for my Bay Boat.
I have a 18ft Scout. You can see the pictures at http://mywebpages.comcast.net/Mojokoko/scout.html.
Anyone have any ideas on a good Jack Plate for her?

If you talk to Scout, they'll tell you the only jack plate they install at their factory is Bob's. They also told me any other jack plate would void my hull warranty. Also, to maintain your hull warranty, they require an authorized Scout dealer to install the jack plate.
What was I supposed to do today?

Installed my CMC in little over an hour. Have about 550 in it. I have a 175 Bay Boat and best investment I have ever made.
It is not hard to do yourself, if the wife or someone helps line up the holes.
