Can't fish anywhere else today so I hit my pond just to waste some time.
I didn't have any beetlespins left so I had to improvise with a 3" gulp tail on a 1/6oz. jig head.
If the pond gets any more water in it, these fish are going to start thinking about making an escape to the ICW.
The concrete pier is completely submerged now
It was fun to waste a few minutes out there, but that wind is killing me!
Wasting Time.........................Fishing can't seem to get those words together , great pictures, what fish are those ...sorry just an out of town-er, by some distance!

Wadley, those are Red Belly Sun Fish. Better know as Bream (pronounced brim). It is a frshwater fish that is a blast to catch on a fly rod while floating down the river!
Thanks for that. Interesting looking fish I would like a go at them on my ultralight outfit, they look similar to the Brim they get in Western Australia!...........they will go onto my must do list for when I return later in the year
