Econfina River Hazard Warning!

Post by Seachaser »

There is a new blowdown just pass the last no wake sign. Huge tree with rootball about 4 feet in size. Friend hit it head on yesterday, Luckily no injuries. Ther is a submerged log about 20 yards from the first rock marker and to the right. It sticks up about 6 inches above the water line. Be careful and safe.

Thanks SEACHASER! I'm not surprised the way it stormed down early last Friday morning. It's nice to know any new hazards....
especially for my night jaunts in and out of the river. :-D
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
