palm on Anky flats

Post by RHTFISH »

Marked location of a large palm just W of tripod late Thurs afternoon:(herons sitting on it caught my attention)
30 02.387
083 56.743

Fished toward Aucilla in about 3.5 feet and caught about 40 shorts, all about 14", and two nice keepers. Gulp only.
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

  Good report, I bet you haven't caught 40 trout in quite a while with the season being closed and all.Sounds like a lot of smaller trout are on the flats, that's the way it was at Keaton last week. :D
