Shell Point 4-16

Post by Talltails »

The 15 mph east winds didn't deter me from paddling out after work today. Fishing a falling tide, I bumped oysterbars with some moderate success. Picked up a trout over 24" and a couple small reds. I saw my first cobia of the year, but it swam away from me. Ready for the weekend.

Dang kayak people. Like flies buzzing when and wherever they want.
Very nice fish.
I hope you fish again today. My buddy rocked on big trout yesterday too but he ain't much for computers.
He WAS in a kayak though! :-D
I haven't been able to fish but I have been leading Marine Bio trips everyday this week. I can say that nearshore productivity/diversity is late this spring. I've found some of most everything I would expect to but not many of them.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.
