There's a Big Boat in my Yard

Post by Littoral »

I guess this topic goes under boating. Never posted here before. :D
My new boat.
2002 Carolina Skiff, 23ft V-Hull, Honda 90 with very few hours.
Came with bottom machine, GPS, radio, trolling motor, and a metal frame shed to store it in.
Big enough to carry me & all my friends kayaks to the Tarpon.

Now I need to buy something that can pull it.

Yeah, I've run a couple times in real rough weather in PSJ and it was ugly.
But if I'm getting a BIG ARSE BEATING in this boat my thinking is that I deserve it for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Anybody can get caught out there, but you can also make better decisions that will save your ARSE.

That's the plan. I'm gonna have to re-do a lot on this boat to get it the way I want it.

HEY BUD, I WILL STILL GO FISHIN IN ONE OF THOSE SKIFFS, BUT ONLY WITH SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS SOME COMMON SENSE. THE BOAT I WENT IN WAS WITH ONE OF MY NEPHEWS, BOY HAS NO SENSE, WE WERE RUNNIN ABOUT 40 MPH IN 4-5 FT. SEAS, AT ONE POINT I WAS NOT ABLE TO HOLD ON TO ANYTHING , WALLARING AROUND THE FLOOR TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING I COULD TIE MYSELF TO SO I WOULD NOT GO OVERBOARD, THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I WENT FISHING WITH HIM.
