Wakulla river bass fishin'
I didnt get to fish this weekend so I planned to go this afternoon after work. I watched the wind all day get stronger into the afternoon. I decided around 4:00 to knock off and try my luck with some freshwater fish. The bass I heard were biting in the river. I started out in the mouth of the Wakulla and picked up a decent fish by the Marina. I eased back up the river to around the first bend a Wham! this 29" red inhales my soft jerk and takes off. Of course I didnt have a leader on or brought a net. This was a stud red, I would say it was one of my heaviest fish for its size, not a very good pic I wasnt really prepared for any thing decent.
