Managed to get out into 60 feet of water and work our way back in. Rough and cold. Fish must have been cold too, very timid bite. Boxed six, 23-30" on frozen LY's and chub mackeral. Tried trolling a stretch 30 and 40, no bites. Went to the hot spot we found four weeks ago, the live bottom with 3 foot relief was completely gone. Guess there's a shrimp boat somewhere with a new hang #. Water temp 58 degrees, wind E at 15 kts, seas solid 3's.

Thanks for the report SB. 6 in the box sounds pretty good to me! Were the LY's frozen before you left the dock?

Sorry to hear about your spot with the missing bottom.... that is a shame!
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Sawbones,

Same thing happened to us on 12/22/03. Trolled stretches with NO LUCK. Dropped frozen LY's and cought limit in (10) in 45 minutes. Most 25 - 26" long.
