Stupid mistake of getting into a tight with new go-devil and not realizing quick enough how to stop it....three 360s and she took on water on low side and flipped over.
Heck of a learning experience! I may flip/sink it again but it won't be for the same reason...! Expensive adventure: ruined Nikon D50 and high end lens, lost VHF handheld,
lost couple good rods and reels, nice net, tools, box lures, etc. I also found out Sospenders work when they are activated....man, I floated like a cork! Greatest thanks to
Steve and Cindy who found me in river before daylight and drug me back to ramp and AK MAN who didn't hesitate to wade in water and help me flip boat upright and get out
enough water it could float again! Sorry some folks were inconvenienced by my blocking one of the ramps for a few minutes.

Thanks for the information Ross. Sure glad you were not hurt!!! Thanks to all the folks who provided assistance!

Anybody who tells you they haven't made a mistake at the ramp is probably lying.
Great day ak!

Re: one for the books.....
I have surprized myself with my Godevil a time or two when I was unable to "put it in neutral" in time (which for the uninitiatied means you push handle down to get prop out of the water. )
Then there are the times you crank it in the dark and accidentally lower it into the water while reaching for your GPS and make an unexpected takeoff...
Someday I will be able to afford a hyperdrive with an actual "neutral" but I still love my "lawnmower" in a strange way. And so far no swimming for me.
Still this is a lesson that PFD should definitely be worn by all Godevil users, and kill switch to boot.

Re: one for the books.....
Thanks guys! Pride shattered for sure....wish it was the first time... but I will be more careful in future! In retrospect, the worse was contemplating the whereabouts of the two large
gators I had seen in the exact location the day before and trying to rescue rods from underneath the hull knowing one had a large super spook attached. I really think I am going to enjoy
the Pursuit and go-devil with more experience....and always PFD worn and kill switch attached.

Heck of a couple of days Akman.
Glad there was somebody around when you "unloaded" the boat.
