Spoon Fly??

Came across some gold spoon flies in a box of other "not really confident" flies. I have not used these because of the lack of confidence, but wonder if anyone else uses them to any success.

take a small strip of rabbit zonker and push the hook point through one end to create a "tail". The reds will kill it and it kind of keeps the spoon from spinning
