2 WEEKS AGO, FOR BASS, SPENT 3/4 OF A DAY THERE FOR 6 VERY SMALL BASS. DO NOT PLAN ON GOING BACK ANY TIME SOON. YOU SHOULD AIM WEST AND SLIGHTLY NORTH TO THE RIVERS. THEM BOYS OVER THERE HAVE BEEN TEARING UP THE SHOAL BASS AND BREAM.

Might go Sun Mornin, buddy says they have been tearin the bass up with live shiners bout 4 in long... we will see though!

Sorry for the late report but here goes...

We were there at daylight and put in. We caught fish pretty much all day. Good ones too. We used june bug trick worms w/ 1/32 ounce weight on the outside of the pads. Caught a few on white horny toads. The bite really turned on when the wind would pick up and put a ripple on the water. Around 2 I put on a black ole Monster to see what would get it, had a 8 pounder take it, she jumped and shook the hook. Story of my life. Never left site of the boat ramp all day.

NICE REPORT, I JUST SEEM TO HAVE BAD LUCK ON THAT LAKE. EVEN ALL THE NIGHT FISHING TRIPS WITH POPPER BUGS LAST YEAR WERE NOT ALL THAT PRODUCTIVE.

I DO NOT KNOW WERE TO FISH ON THE FLINT BUT I PLAN ON GOING THIS WEEKEND.

The bugging as I have been told from the diehards has not been getting really good till around 12 midnight and later. I have just not stayed up late enuff!
