I just found this website and it looks to be a good one. I in shore fish as much as I can in Steinhatchee. Due to the recent purchase of a new home I have not been there in a couple weeks.
Does anyone have any recent inshore reports? My dad is coming in town this weekend and I am wondering if it is worth the drive to give the trout and redfish a try.
Any info would be appreciated?

Re: New Member - Steinhatchee Question
was good in the river when it was fridgid when it warmed up they scattered water to clear if you don't see them don't fish or go to the reef for sheep or go way up towards rock island don't bother if you don't know the area. up there they are in the creek mouths but in a very tight area. they were not in dallas creek but there was a school of redfish out front. that was two weeks ago the river was full of fish and boats.
Yesterday it was taboo today it is normal what the heck will they be doing tomorrow?

Re: New Member - Steinhatchee Question
Check the inshore fishing report section.
I normally launch at Keaton and run N but during the summer head S towards Steinhatchee. I would imagine from past trips that redfish would be in the Dallus Creek area, close to shore holding on some kind of structure (bars, rocks, ect...) that when the tide is low will get warm and bring up the water temp in the area. That's what this time of year is all about, structure, structure and structure.
Good luck and let us know how you do.
