Seminole 2/22
It was a beautiful day. The sky was clear. There was very little wind.
We took off at daylight to the one place I thought we might catch some fish. Stayed there most of the day. As nice as the weather was, it was a tough day. The water temp is still in the high 50's. The fish are cruising and trying to bed, and won't cooperate. I caught 1 fish, and my partner struck out. The guy thay won our tournament hat 3 fish totaling 7.5 pounds.
I'm predicting the fishing will turn on at Seminole in another week.

Listening to Jack Wingate this morning he said some guy won a tournament this weekend with 4 fish @ 24 lbs and they had a ladies tournament out of Bainbridge the winning stringer was 20 lbs for two days of fishing.
The closest I got to fishing was Oshmanns, Led Robster and some fried grouper last night. Oh yeah crossed the Ochlocknee six times yesterday too

Jack's report is accurate, Chalk. But it isn't complete. He gave the winning weights. But he didn't elaborate on the rest of the field. It went down hill fast after that. The 4 fish/24 lb. stringer was weighed at the BFL tournament, Saturday. For those that aren't familiar with bass fishing, the BFL, or Bass Fishing League, is the first step into the FLW tour. Most of those guys are at least semi-pro, sponsored, and prefished for 2 weeks for that tournament. I don't have the time or money to compete with those guys. As for the ladies tournament, the winner had some help from some of the BFL boys.
Now, if all you folks on this forum would like to pool your resources and sponsor me, I'll fish 5 days a week and fish some of these bigger tournaments. I could probably get by if y'all can come up with $150,000 a year.
