Love Outlaw Country, Merle, Waylon but can't stand when it sounds commercial and like pop music. Also can't forget about the blues players, SRV, Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Son House, Robert Johnson just to name a very few. Also need to give Frank Zappa his due.

thats great, your not alone Red, I myself 40ish and have a long board too. I've seen where out in Cali the oldskool skaters like Duane Peters, Tony Alva some of those boys still have pool contest for old guys. I don't know how they still do it. I've had thoughts of gettin a "real" long board but I don't think much breaks here on the Gulf waters.Redphisher wrote:"Many years ago when we were having halfpipe sessions we would listen to Zappa, The Clash & Talking heads just to name a few ... ahhh the good ol' days ..."
I am and old skater myself, sponsored am, use to ride the MARS series (midwest amateur ramp series) now I am too old and too stiff, but there are nights when one might see me cruising my long board around the neighborhood.![]()
