Sounds like you need a bigger sand box.

I have a 48" Husquvarna and cut 3 acres.I have been really impress with the quality of this mower the deck is made of thicker metal and holds up better in the sand we have down here in Wakulla county compare to other mowers. But if I had it to do over again I would get a zero turn Husquvarna alot faster cutting a buddy of mine has one and loves it

Sorry for not quickly offering thanks to all who replied. Enjoying the social kept us pretty busy yesterday, and then sadly the last 24 hours have had us having to say goodbyes to one of our dogs, a 13 year old gal we called Abbey. Quite sad to lose her as she was a wonderful and faithful girl, but she's also the first of about 4 dogs we've owned during our 18 year marriage who actually lived a full life so we're also thankful for the times we were able to share with her.

Back to the subject at hand, just wanted to say I REALLY do appreciate all the tips and leads.

72" Rear steer john deer will get it done. Especially with all the trees. You can zip around the tree in seconds and keep going in the line you started. Easily mow 2acres per hour. :-D

Just let that little girl of yours starting walking and get her a push mower. It'll keep her outta trouble and give ya'll a running padna in a hurry.

Reel Cowboy, you sound like my Dad. Think he purposely had three boys so he could use us as slave laborers from the time we walked until we left the nest
