Re: Brings back some fond memories
Ah, the memories of Breakers at PC in the 80's. I still have those images burned into my brain, most in stereo

The more I know about something, the more I know that I did not know as much as I thought I knew that I knew.

I did not bore them with stories of PC trips in late 50s and early 60s.

Re: Brings back some fond memories
Fond memories....yes
That's what makes them fond.....they're in the past. The comment at the end of " Can I just stay here forever?" That would ruin it. There's a difference between memories and lifestyle. I'll take the memories anyday. I also enjoyed the Spring Break years in PCB from 88-93. Even lived to tell a few stories
PCB has just changed too much since then. I miss the days of staying at the $25 a night Twin Palms or the Barney Gray Inn. Hell, even splurging a little for the Fontain Blue just to enjoy the "indoor pool" and the cool helicopter landing pad on the roof
The days of La Vela and Spinnaker where you could pay $25 for all night and listen to 5 different bands while drinking flat beer
Man, how times change
Man, how times change
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Proverbs 18:21
