Wind Blown at Steinhatchee 3/26-28...

Post by tilldawg »

Conditions were less than ideal, but we managed to do well on both reds and trout. Limits of reds all three days and limits on trout on 2 of the three days. Our partner boat did real well on trout as well.

I was as tired as I have ever been after 2 1/2 days of fishing though. Winds of 20-30 with gusts to 40 on Saturday will do that to you. I ended up just driving the boat most of time we were up shallow and not even fishing. And shallow water was hard to find as the wind pilled the water up pretty good near the river.

Here are a few highlight fish from my boat:

A very good trip, especially in the weather you had to deal with.
What was I supposed to do today?
