Trip for red snapper a success! We left out at 7:30, ran about 2 hours, and had our limit of red snapper (14) by noon. We were in about 90 feet of water and the water was a brilliant blue. My first live pinfish I caught a 33" AJ. 5 keeper red snapper, and 1 24" gag was my haul, along with several shorts of each species. There wasn't anything in the cooler to brag about, all the snapper were around 5 to 7 pounds, and 1 kepper red grouper. (most everything was caught on live pinfish or frozen squid)
It was a beautiful day and it sure beat being at work.

Way to go!! Anytime you can get a "limit" of any species, it is a great day

Glad to know the ever "endangered" red snapper is still out there

Nothing special to look at, but I grilled some of each Tuesday night and it was something special to eat!
I was a little optimistic with the weight of a few(most) of the snapper
