I think Georgia got beat by a good OSU team and I know this will probably not be the popular opinion but I think Cox will do well this year. Not Staffords arm, but no other team has that either.

You guys are tough on Richt. I wish UGA would get rid of him so he could come back to Tallahassee. If Stafford and Moreno wouldn't have left, they would be the team to beat in the SEC. I hate to say it to all of the UF fans, but Stafford is a lot better QB than Tebow. Tebow is just a great leader with a lot of talent around him. Stafford has a canon for an arm and could have probably led the dawgs to a championship. It's hard for Richt to build a championship team when all of his top players are leaving early. That's one thing that plagues any good college team. UF is lucky that they only lost a couple of key members from last year. If Tebow would have left, do you think UF would be preseason #1??

Stafford is indeed a better QB then Tebow, but nowhere near a better player. And if Tebow had left, UF would not be #1 right now, but they would be close. Returning 22 players on defense would assure that.

BayGator-I agree about Tebow. He is such a motivator that it makes me want to play football again. He is really a special player that I don't think anyone in the country could match. It's going to be interesting to see how UF does when he is gone. Unfortunately, when he leaves, so will half the team. I think he alone is the reason there are so many returning starters. They really enjoy playing football with him.

I wish Stafford would have stayed in Athens, it would have made for an interesting cocktail party is Jax!! Now I think it's going to be a blowout. Maybe my boys in Tally can give you guys a run for the money in Nov!!

Brandon Spikes came to UF because of Tebow, and stayed for his senior year as well. That says a lot, especially since he gave up millions in the NFL to come back. I have learned to never count UGA or FSU out no matter what is going on in all the other games they play. Both will play UF hard because they know they have a chance to ruin a title run for the Gators.

Oh lordy mercy ... on bad game and folks want to see Richt gone. Not a chance. Last year we had a good shot until we lost half of defensive line and more than half of our offensive line. I still think Cox will do okay in the end.
