St. Marks 10-25

Post by konrad »

Got down to the St. Marks light house at 9:30 and headed east to the mouth of Stony Bayou. Picked up 7 keeper trout drifting along the channel. All on top water plugs. Then moved back to a hole at the entrance of one of the creeks. Picked up 3 more to conclude our trout limit. We caught these on New Penny Gulp Grubs. Two of which were in the 24 inch class. By this time the tide was pretty low so we headed over to one of our red fish holes. I cut up a lady fish we caught earlier in the day for bait. Sure enough the reds were there. Picked up two in short order. Both 26 ¾ inches. Got back to Tallahassee by 2:00. We also pick up 3 quality Blue fish and one Spanish but we let them go.
