Mashes Sands 3/28

Post by John O »

Headed out early. Seas were flat and the water was clear. Stops in 35 and 45 feet produced nothin. Went out to 50 feet, got 1 keeper Red and a mess of grunts. All of these on the bottom with LY's. On the way in, decided to stop off at the Rotary and picked up a keeper Gag trolling. Totals: 1 keeper Red, 1 Keeper Gag, 10 Grunts (with a bunch more thrown back) and 1 beautiful day on the water.

SR,
Water Temp was 63 out at 50 feet, and 67 when I looked at the Rotary.

Tried to get some pinfish, but had no luck, so LY's were the bait of the day! Only place tried was the Shoal. Anyone have any suggestions on where the pinfish might be now out of MS.
