Mild Kitchen Remodel Help Needed....

Post by Steve Stinson »

I need some help with some mild kitchen remodeling including new countertops, installation of one cabinet beneath an existing bar (probably 6'x3'), and installation of a microwave / range hood above the stove. Preference given to NFGFC or Bigbendfishing.net members.

If you can help please call my cell phone at 509-3116 in Tallahassee.

Thanks - Steve Stinson

Do like I did and do it yourself. Its not as bad as you would think. All you need is every weekend for the next 4 months and a rifle to put to your head after you're done.

Seriously though, I don't know anybody and wish I did about two years ago.

Are you trying to do it yourself or just wanting it done?

I am trying NOT to do it myself.... Haven't you guys been reading my fishing reports? Per WaltDawg's post above, this is not the time to be tied up for four weekends.

I already talked to TinCan at the NFGFC Christmas party. He said he doesn't do kitchens, but may know somebody who would do it in their spare time. I was just trying to see if we had any club members in the business.

Thanks - Steve

Steve,
Not sure if he's a member or not (believe he is), but Rocky Gavins has done a couple of remodeling jobs for me (including kitchen countertop) and does excellent work. You can reach him at 545-9945.

I have a good friend that does kitchen remodeling. Call Matt @ 345-0656 and tell him him the "deer slayer" referred him :-D

No, he needs a cabinet making professional who can complete the job in a timely manner, who can provide fine quality workmanship at a fair price!

I was a busboy in high school, just in case those skills are needed too..... :-D
