Any die hards out there?

Post by captkeyser »

Just wanted to see who, if any diehards are going to brave the storm prefishing for next weekends tournament? I am itching to get out there and see just how much of an impact all this rain has had on water clarity. I bet things aren't so pretty out there. :smt011

I will be out there somewhere....even I am not sure where yet.

First I have to go to my wife's high school reunion over in Holmes County, then to my sons wrestling tournament in Wakulla, then off in search of the ever elusive 26.999999 inch redfish.

I'll be out sunday. If there is no report, assume there are no fish around the Econfina River.

I'll be out there Sat and Sun. Interested in seeing how the big tide swing and full moon effect the bite... Feed looks to be around lunch time so I hope to be at my spot by then. Just keep an eye on the radar and bring a rain jacket.

Ain't that the truth! My main concern in the floating grass that may be pumped in from the Souther wind. Topwater no worky in the grass :smt009

mojo and I went last weekend and were shocked at the water clarity in the creeks and flat. st marks river and lh area was golden brown but in the east flat we could see the bottom in ~5ft. I dont think I've ever seen the river that tannin and the creeks so clear on the same day anywhere. Could be the tannins just didnt make it down the creeks yet by last Saturday, and there also wasn't a ton of water moving as far as tides so I suspect it probably got worse over the next couple days. I'll find out tomorrow morning I reckon.
