Went down on the St Johns last Monday. Came back Thursday. Highlite of the trip was the high wind. It's blowing all over Florida. We fished mostly in Lake Dexter till the wind came up...using crickets...worms....gar row. Crickets were the best. Fishing wasnt too good. Four of us caught about 50 total...bream and catfish. First time I.ve used gar row. Nastiest bait I've ever used. Either the bream had already bedded....or had not started.
Good fellowship...plenty to eat.
Ditto what TC said I just hope that they are hungrier when we go down to Welaka at the end of the month There will be 12 of us this year
