Wakulla Beach 2/14

Went to Wakulla Beach on Sunday with two friends. We took our kayaks and fished the incoming tide looking for Sheephead and Red’s. Bait of choice was shrimp and Gulp jigs. Covered a lot of water and fished hard for a good 5-6 hours. None of us caught a single fish. We were fishing the west side. At the landing we ran into two a couple that was fishing the east side of WB who had the same results as us. The wind was brutal, blowing a good 20mph out of the south. There was white caps in a 1 ½ foot of water.

I was down there the afternoon of the 14th. More cars in at the beach than I expected to see. Went up Graves Creek and didn't do do-diddly-squat. Gave up earlier than I normally would have (before dark) because of the wind, and went home.
