Thomas County Pond Report

Post by Chalk »

Had a little family get together at the property for Easter. Had the reels, poles and some crickets. Played around with some bream until most got bored and quit  . So me a Joseph got the ole beetle spin out and started walking around the pond. Just about every where I stopped, I was catching either bream or bass. Gto back to the end of the pond away from every one else. Started catching big shell crackers and 12" -15" bass, saw a school of them about 20 or so. Hooked a good bream, got Joseph, to reel him in, turned out to be one of the biggest I have seen in years (camera was in the truck :hammer: ), Joesph gave it a kiss and said throw it back. He ended up reeling in several more bream and bass, giving several more kisses  . Ole dad was a smiling and enjoying the time on the water with his son . Ended up with probably 20-25 bass and about the same on bream.

Yep, won't be long and it'll be Chalk & Chalk fishing them tournaments on the Gulf. Maybe stagnate water tournaments though, concidering all the bass ya'll been catching lately.
Keep him interested. He'll be the best fishing partner you'll ever have.
