BBG what do you think
Allen Boyd said he was going to vote NO on the healthcare bill.
Now he says he is voting YES.
Perhaps in November he will understand what "NO" means.

WHOSE FISH IS IT?
Re: BBG what do you think
I think Boyd voted no in November due to the pressure the voters were giving him. I think that he will vote yes today due to the pressure the White House is giving him. I think it's time for Boyd to say farewell and move on. The only problem is: what qualified candidate is going to replace him?

The only qualifications you have to have are: natural born citizen and over whatever age. In a few years, I'll be qualified.Scoop Sea wrote:The only problem is: what qualified candidate is going to replace him?

What do I think, Jumptrout?
I'll tell you exactly what I think... it's a sad, dark day watching a former serviceman turn into a Nancy boy and ignore the majority of his constituents to be the key deciding vote on taking us down the destitute path of socialism.
Here's something else I think... be they republicans or democrats, I don't see how folks aren't understanding that the government won't be giving a dayum thing to us for free. Good gosh, folks, in order to say this bill of crap is "deficit" neutral they are going to tax us all (watch and see) for FIVE full years before giving anyone a helping hand.
It all boils down to we think that they will manage our money better than we can ourselves... that we need a dadgum nanny to care for us using our own money, and trusting the nanny will do so wisely despite having bankrupted everything she's touched in the past.
Finally, being married to physician I have a sad prediction to make. A recent poll of physicians showed the older docs who have the means are going to retire versus deal with continued increasing government mandates (they have dramatically increased the past two years -- I'm handling them firsthand for Pam). The best younger doctors are increasingly moving to cosmetic full-pay services to minimize the financial hit they fear that government involvement is bringing. The end result? Fewer doctors left to handle more patients who think care should be free and will visit more often (exactly what's happened in Massachusetts). Visits for care in the future will be about as "special" as trips to the post office and dmv where you take a number and wait for years (seriously) to be seen.
I really hope I don't run into Nancy boy anytime soon as I fear it might have me posting from a prison cell.

Well said BBG....I'm to the point of total frustration. God has blessed this country beyond measure....and we're turning to socialism as a way of life. SAD!

RC, if you are 25 or over you can run for the House of Representatives. You don't even have to be a natural born citizen. Come on down to North Florida and run, we need some fishermen in Congress.

Re: BBG what do you think
i just tried to call his Washington office. The phone rang 25 times and then i got a message from Boyd asking me to leave a message and that he would get back to me. Then i got a robot tell me the mailbox was full.
I hope this doesnt happen in a few years when i am sick and try to call my doctor.
Boyd was poisoned by politics long ago. If you are just figuring it out now - well better late than never.
We are all going to have to get off our duffs this fall and be active.

Wetjet be glad your rep is avoiding you and not just being down right cocky like Sanford Bishop here in south GA. After emailing him when he first voted yes, i recieved a letter that basiclly stated he felt he was doing what was best for his district and he felt that the majority of the people in his district wanted this but was silent about it....the letter also included telling me where i could find a online copy of the bill and read over it to see just how much the bill would "benifit me".... after i got this letter i was more angry with my rep then before, one thing for sure come nov we will see what the true majority wanted if this bill passes.
Re: BBG what do you think
Bishop's office has sent me tons of material explaining his position. Nothing has yet answered the question I have been asking daily for months..."why did you vote to exclude you and your family from the proposed system?" What this country desperately needs are a whole bunch of ex-Washington politicos!akasephiroth wrote:Wetjet be glad your rep is avoiding you and not just being down right cocky like Sanford Bishop here in south GA. Re: BBG what do you think
I called ol' Sanford's office Friday and let the chick answering the phone know that if he voted yes then I would be voting no. I also told her I would rather vote for a color blind monkey than his arse.
They can all start looking for jobs as far as I'm concerned.

Re: BBG what do you think
WHAT ALL OF THE PREVIOUS POST SAID. LETS FACE IT BOYS, UNTILL WE GET OFF OF OUR DUFFS AND START WORKING AGAINST THIS STUPID GOVERNMENT LEADERSHIP, WHICH IS OBAMA AND THE DEM. PARTY, BY THAT I MEAN , TALK TO EVERYBODY YOU KNOW AND TELL THEM WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR GREAT NATION AND SPEND A LITTLE JACK TO GET THE JOB DONE . I SPENT 6 YEARS DEFENDING MY COUNTRY BACK IN WW 2 AND I DO NOT WANT THAT TO BE WAISTED. I JUST PRAY THAT THIS BILL WILL NOT PASS. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN THAT I SPENT MANY DOLLARS GETTING THEM EDUCATED AS DOCTORS TO HAVE ALL OF THIS THROWN AWAY BY A LITTLE BLACK MUSLEM BOY AND HIS PARTY. LITTLE MUSLEM BOY HAS CANCELED THE NATION DAY OF PRAYER BUT HE HAS DECLARED A NATIONAL DAY FOR THE MUSLEM RELIGION. WE NEED TO GET RID OF OBAMA, POLOSI, REID, AND BIDEN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THEY HAVE ALREADY GOTTEN US SO DEEP IN DEBT I DOUBT THAT WE WILL EVER GET OUT OF DEBT. I GUESS I HAD QUIT, I COULD JUST LET YOU KNOW ABOUT MANY THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPEN TO OUR COUNTRY OVER THE LAST 2 YEARS I COULD WRITE INFORMATION THAT MOST PEOPLE DO NOTKNOW FOR HOURS ON END. WE MUST UNSEAT EVERY DEM. IN THE NATION COME NOVEMBER , AND FIGHT TO DO THIS.
