NFGFC July Tournament Results

23 boats showed up to fish Saturday on a beautiful, yet windy day. Many fish were caught, anglers avoided the rain (and lightning at the weigh-in), and a good time was had by all. Our next tourmament will be August 7th in Carrabelle. More details about that tournament will be posted soon.

Thought there was a tie in this catagory I suppose we got the money took from us and now don't even get no recognition.

i am very disappointed in the way that the mistery fish was finalized. I was told there are no rules to the mystery fish but i think some need to be made. i was not asked at all how to handle it. A coin could have been flipped or it should have went in order of the people signing up that morning. Or money should have been split.

I'm sorry you feel that way. The mystery fish is not weighed in order of registration, I simply ask who has a _____fish that they'd like to weigh. The tiebreaker goes to the person that weighs first. Simple as that. If you'd asked me what the tiebreaker was, I would've been glad to tell you.

Now that I know there is a bonus fish tie breaker,I will try to be first,if I ever get one.

i don't know which would be better weighing in first or by going by who registered first that morning.it sure would be hard to split 50$ 3 ways though u might get a happy meal with it .i do remember the rocky's tournament that was recently put on and there was a tie and i think it went to the first to weigh in or the other guys were nice enough to let the young boy win it.
