Trolling Motor Repair / Service / Sales - Tallahassee

Post by Atticus »

I had the occasion to use this little shop on the West side of Tallahassee. Very quick turn around, good rates, solid work.

First thing that happened was the cord on my MK wore through to the copper and it started buzzing. Took the boat over to the West side and got a new factory cord installed. A couple weeks later one of my Optimas died (4 seasons on the boat). Took the boat back to the West side and got my two new Optima blue tops installed. (I bought the blue tops at Costco.) Both times the work was done fast and for a reasonable price. This place is an authoized service center for MG and MK.

Bill is the former owner of Sunshine Boats. The trolling motor biz is something to keep him busy in his "retirement." Glad to hear good things about good folks.

Yeah, he hooked me up a while back after bumping a tree on the river. He had the part in stock and was even cheaper than I could find it online.

Yep Bill is good people. I purchased a used MK riptide 55# thrust for 120.00 and iy's currently working great on One Keeper. I would highly recomend him for sales and service.
