Left the dock at 8, came back at 8:10 waiting on the storm to move or die down. Finally started out around 9. First spot we fished in 20 feet and put 3 keepers in the box. Kept moving on out hitting spots all the way to 33 feet. First spot I dove I got a 22.00001 gag and a nice hog. Next spot Frank dove and got 5 hogs. After Frank came back up we had to run from the storms rolling in from offshore. Ran all the way back to the first spot and I brought back 2 more gags.
We saw more fish in 20 feet on 1 spot than 4 spots out deeper. Water was clear out deeper, but a little more murky in shallow. Water temp 84. Back in the river at 2:30 just ahead of the rain.
Total for the day 6 gags to 10 lbs
6 hogs to 18 inches.

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Nice trip. Hard to beat keeper fish in 20 feet.
