Hello to all, I haven't had a chance to make to the gulf since June. I am going in the a.m. and wondered at what depth the trout are holding? Any info would be great. Thanks

I have been catching Spotted Seatrout consistently in 8'-10' south of the Grey Mare Rock area for the past 4-6 weeks. I have been catching them on Gulp shrimp on a jig head bounced off the bottom or if the bite is a little slow, a fluke style on a 1/16 oz weighted or unweighted hook bounced worked SLOW on the bottom. Look for sand patches and you will find the fish.
