Trolling motor installation

Post by topheavy »

Found out my parents got me a minn kota 55 powerdrive bowmount for my 161 Palm Beach. It's not a saltwater, but i heard as long as you rinse it down everytime it will last. Does anyone know of a good place to have it installed? My boat isn't pre-rigged for one with a receptical. How much should i expect to have to spend? Want a removable mount as well. Thanks!
