Limit of Reds

Post by Just Fish »

Reds were not stacked up like they were last month. It was tough fishing for a 2 man limit. 20" 22" red, and 18" trout caught slow trolling. Water temp was up to almost 60.

Where: creeks down from the state park probably one of JTs holes. When: Tuesday between 8:30am and 3pm. How: trolling with crankbaits. Multiple sizes and colors. First keeper was on dead low tide (8:30am), Second keeper on rising tide 2pm. Few fish on in between but lost them, probably trout by the way they felt.

Cloudy, windy, water temp 58-60, water stained, tide was rising, live shrimp useless, bull minnows useless, 40lb power pro with florocarbon leaders, 3 other boats in the area with very few fish. Beats work!!! Fun was had by all. Good luck out there....
