Mirrolures -- What's your favorite and color?

Post by Tidedancer »

Mirrolure has come out with some very good (great) baits. There are lot of new one's in the shops now.
I was just wondering what everyone's favorite is?
Mine is the ole 52M in white with a red head.
What's yours

real fond of the gold/clear Catch 2000 and anything chartruese.
They've got some soft plastics that look pretty neat and come through the water with a nice action.

MirrOdine and top dog are hard to beat.
Suspending I like Green backs- and tend to use natural colors.

I GUESS ONE OF THE FAVORITE THAT I HAVE USED IS THE 52-M-24, BLUE BACK , SILVER SIDE, RED HEAD TOP DOG, PURPLE TOP DOG AND THE MULLET SUSPENDED SINKER. I STILL HAVE SOME OF THE ORIGINAL L&S BASS MASTER THEY MADE BEFORE THEY BECAME MIRRO - LURE. ALL OF THE ABOVE HAVE MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO CATCH MANY, MANY, FISH, SALT WATER AND FRESH. I HAVE SOME THAT ALL OF THE COLOR HAS GONE AND THEY LOOK LIKE BONE AND STILL CATCH FISH.

I love these trolling for grouper http://www.mirrolure.com/classics/111mr.html ECMAC color. I ran a stretch 25 same color pattern side by side with on of these and the mirrolure outfished the stretch 6 grouper to 0 (actually caught 1 lizzard fish on the stretch). Bonita and Kings love them also. Friend of mine caught a cobia on it also.

I've gotta go with ol' faithful here: 20MR-21 (catch2000) in chartreuse.

I used a 95MR-GCRB (He Dog) for a while but it's so stripped of its color it may as well be all chrome.... but still produces strikes!

I have a 27MR-18 (MirrOdine XL) in CFPR that has produced... (I have the 17MR-BCH (the smaller model) that is about useless, as well)

gotta go w/ the catch all day baby!!! Species on catch: trout, red, shark, cat, lady, spanish, blue,

My go to lure (when I run out of Bagley's Finger Mullets) is the silver/clear Catch 2000 suspending lure.............Very nice action and suspends just at the right level when working the rod tip...........Caught my first Redfish on one last year around St. Marks in April and have the same exact lure ready for this coming Spring.
