I hit the water at about 7:30am yesterday, it was a little cloudy but not to bad a lookin day.water temp 77 degrees.Road out to the birdrack and setup on a fast drift, Wind blew hard all day outta the south, didnt get to do any red fishing but managed a limit of trout.Largest fish 23in. most were 16-17 in. Caught 1 bluefish 20 in.
8 annoying catfish and around 15 short trout. lost 1 nice Spanish 2-3 pounds, cut me off at the boat 30 pound Fireline 1 huge garr probably 20 pounds ,didnt mind him breaking me off Most fish were caught on SWA Electric chicken.Overall the bite was good but the wind was a bumpy ride.
WTG I don't mind ruff, so long as the fishies bite

Good job, Yukondon. We fished at Keaton yesterday, and you're right-the wind was terrible. But the fish bit good there, too. We got 6 nice trout and a big salt water gar like yours- those things must be everywhere now. My wife thought she had a big shark. Took his picture and back he went.
