Thanks for the pix, scag. It looks like we're going to have a curb between the ramps. In effect turning a single double ramp into double single ramps. I guess that's good. :smt017

I winder if they found my trailer tag? Not knowing anything about boating last year, I launched there in the winter at a low tide and went off the bad side. I lost my tag and busted a light. That was my first and last time visiting the ramp. Now, I launch at the fort.

Great pics Skag, thanks for posting them. The picture of the old ramp looks like when it was fairly new (no busted off corners). Does it look like the new ramp is any wider?

Thanks for taking the time to post pics. When my vehicle rolls into the the water, I'm wearing a hat and sunglasses so I won't be identified in the pics! ha ha I really feel for those guys.

The new ramp does look like it's a bit wider than the old ramp, however it also looks like there is going to be some sort of curb or divider in the middle so the useful space may be just about the same. I requested a copy of the management plan to find out whether it's true that they are going to limit parking to 50 trailers when it re-opens, will post anything I find out.

Can you tell if the entry area (the road area as you back in) has been expanded? Two ramps are nice, but logjam it will be if that is not widened.

If the Aucilla ramp was repaired more people would use it.
A good reason to leave it alone.
Maybe more people will now use the lighthouse and leave Aucilla alone.
