Life is short. Thanks for sharing. He made great advances for fishing and conservation. I guess he never got remarried after Jodi. But God bless those who are grieving.

I haven't thought about Billy Pate in so long. Meet him many many years ago. He was a nice guy and a great fisherman. RIP Billy!

Great angler and he and his late brother were both true Southern gentlemen. Tight loops and hungry 'poons, Billy.
