fly reels

Post by bigirishllp »

if any of you have bought a redington crosswater combo, and like me, found out the hard way that the reel is a little on the fragile side, good news! The cabela's three forks reel, is the exact same reel, and is only 19 bucks. not a high end reel, but I have caught some pretty big bass and reds on mine in 4wt. drag works well, and as long as it gets a good washing after fishing at the coast, no corrosion issues. now if I could just keep it from jumping off the shelf
