We quit fishing Econfina when we went from a bass type boat to a bay boat. It is a great area to fish but we believed it would be just to risky with the rocks and trying to time the tides to get in and out is too much hassle when you have to fish when you can not when the tides are right.

Tunnell hull, tiller w/ a t&t unit. Add a porter rock guard. You can then run free down there.

Or a mud motor. :-D
